MR. RONNIE EVANS Mr. Ronnie Evans, 69, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at West Georgia Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, at St. James United Methodist Church in Hogansville. The Reverend Willow Heim will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night. Mr. Evans was born March 16, 1942, in Newnan, and served as a military policeman in the U. S. Army. Before returning to Hogansville in 2002, he lived in Spartanburg, SC for 22 years, where he retired as plant supervisor for Woodbury Business Forms. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Diane Evans of Hogansville; sons and daughters in-law, Ronnie and Becky Evans of Spartanburg, SC, Kenneth and Gloria Evans of Jackson, TN; his mother, Nellie Evans of Hogansville; sister and brother in-law, Bonnie and Erven Chisenhall of McDonough; his mother in-law, Ella Mae Pittman of Hogansville; and six grandchildren. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Wednesday night, March 30th, at Claude A.
