Rondel Lee Story

MR. RONDEL L. STORY Mr. Rondel Lee Story, 57, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Story was born January 4, 1958, in LaGrange, son of the late Lonnie Lorenza Story and Frances Mathews Story. A 1976 graduate of Troup High School, he was employed by Milliken and Co. for 16 years and Interface for four years. He served as a volunteer for WOAK and was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle, where he served as director of Home Folks Ministry. Survivors include his wife, Pat Story; daughter Crystal (Cristi) McWhorter and her huband Chris; son, Chad Norton and his wife Mitzi; brothers and sister in-law, Jerry Story and Rickey and Rita Story; and grandchildren, Harley Bonner, Michael Bonner, Sarah McWhorter, Blake Norton, Jake Norton, Abby Norton, Gabby Stribling, Grant Stribling, Devin McWhorter, Christopher McWhorter, Breanna McWhorter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Fletcher Story. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 15, at the Baptist Tabernacle in LaGrange. The Reverend Jimmy McMillian and the Reverend Randy Gilbert will officiate and interment will be in Meadoway Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
