Rolland Darryl Strickland

Mr. Darryl Strickland, 59, of Newnan, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mr. Strickland was born on May 6, 1962, in Newnan, to the late Elonza Floyd Strickland, Jr. and the late Irene Smith Strickland. A resident of Coweta County most of his life, he had been employed as a card mechanic for Shaw Industries, and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fly fishing. Survivors include his daughter, Sara Irene Strickland; wife, Anita Strickland; brothers and sisters, Patricia Bassett, Gloria Dawn Strickland, Eleanor Strickland, Roger Strickland, David Strickland, Floyd Strickland, David Strickland, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight Strickland and his sister, Sundra Davis. The family is planning a Celebration of Life ceremony at a later date. Claude A.
