Roger Dale Hendrix

Mr. Roger Dale Hendrix, 76, of Newnan, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mr. Hendrix was born September 3, 1948, in Carroll County, son of the late C.V. "Shorty" Hendrix and Ollie Pearl Steele Hendrix. A resident of the Coweta County area most of his life, he retired as a self-employed remodeling contractor

and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Sherry Betsill of Fayetteville, Rhonda Wehunt of Jackson, Paige Eddy of Franklin; sons, Christopher Hendrix of Franklin, Douglas Hendrix of Grantville, and Scott McDill of Newnan; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Hornsby of Camden, SC, Joyce Johnson of Columbia, SC; and brother, James Hendrix of Newnan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Moon Hendrix; sister, Patsy Hubbard; brother, Johnny Hendrix; and dear friend, Judy Whitlock.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Wade Arrington will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.. Wednesday, prior to the service.
