Roger Lee Fomby

MR. ROGER L. FOMBY Mr. Roger Lee Fomby, 61, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at his home. Mr. Fomby was born March 10, 1954, in Heard County, son of the late Coley Lee Fomby and Peggy Gaddy Fomby. A lifelong resident of the Hogansville area, he was employed for a number of years at Carter's Distribution Center in Hogansville and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. Survivors include his brother and sister in-law, Donny and Lillie Mae Gaddy of Hogansville; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Arnold Fomby, and nephew, Donald Fomby. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donald Yancey will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Wednesday night. Claude A.
