MR. ROGER T. BROWN Mr. Roger Thomas Brown, 52, of the Corinth Community of Heard County, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. Born March 9, 1962, in Whiteville, North Carolina, he lived in this area most of his life and was a self-employed remodeling contractor. He was Pentecostal by faith. Survivors include his daughters, Christy Moreland, Amanda Smith and Nicole Marchman, all of Newnan, and Sarah Brown of Acworth; son, Derek Brown of Newnan; his mother, Shirley Brown of Corinth; sister, Faye Moore of Newnan; brothers, Ronnie Brown of Panama City, FL, Scott Brown, Randy Brown, Jerry Brown and Timothy Brown, all of Corinth; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold William Brown; his brother, David Wayne Brown; and his sister, Barbara Ann Brown. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Smay and the Reverend Deon Adamson will officiate and interment will be in Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Paulding County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, November 24th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Paulding County
