ROGER DALE BIRCHFIELD Roger Birchfield, 49, of Grantville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mr. Birchfield was born November 25, 1962, in Maryville, Tennessee and lived in Covington before making his home in Grantville 13 years ago. He was employed as a forklift mechanic for Sysco Corporation in College Park. He leaves behind his wife of 16 years, Megan Birchfield; his children, Rhiannon Birchfield, Victoria Birchfield, and Lucas Birchfield, all of Grantville; his mother, Helen Birchfield of Covington; sister and niece, Sherry and Stephanie Birchfield, also of Covington; and his grandmother, Irene Head of Maryville, TN. The family will host a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Colley Park, located on Main Street in Grantville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home, Hogansville.
