MR. JERRY SMITH Mr. Jerry Smith, 69, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Bobby Carpenter will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Mr. Smith was born June 20, 1939, in LaGrange, son of the late Truman Manuel Smith and the late Eula Butler Smith. He was a member of the Baptist church, was retired from the Lakewood Assembly Plant of General Motors, and had lived at Hogansville since 1997. Survivors include his sons, Truman Smith of Hogansville and Jeff Smith of Augusta; and five grandchildren, Casey Truman Smith, Cody Michael Smith, Destiny Smith, Arianna Smith, and Angelina Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lynn Smith, and his twin brother, Jerald Smith. The Claude A.
