Mr. Robert D. Pombrio, 91, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at his home.

Born July 7, 1932, in Nashua, NH, Mr. Pombrio was the son of the late Maxwell Phillip Pombrio and Ann Ida Soucy Pombrio. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was awarded three Purple Hearts with two Oak Leaf Clusters and the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars. He earned a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and retired as President of the Minerals Division of Pfizer, Inc. For many years, he maintained homes in Niantic, CT and Hogansville.

Mr. Pombrio is survived by his sister, Carol Dionne of Merrimack, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Morgan Pombrio.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Gurald Kemp officiating.

The family will greet friends at the graveside before and after the funeral service.
