Robert L. Marchman

Mr. Robert L. Marchman, 68, of the Louise Community of Troup County, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at his home. Mr. Marchman was born December 26, 1952, son of the late Hubert and Virginia Sims Marchman. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was employed as a diesel mechanic for West Georgia Auto and Truck Repair in LaGrange prior to his retirement.6 Survivors include his wife, Tammy Bowles; Robert's and Tammy's children and their spouses, Chad and Holly Marchman, Josh and Crystal Marchman, Melanie and Kevin Adamson, Josh Elliott, and Wayne Bowles; sisters, Shirley Hubbard, Jo Ann Rice, and Linda Shaw; and grandchildren, Haley Marchman, Wesley Marchman, Parker Marchman, Chasidy Adamson, Chelsey Adamson. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lee Marchman; and daughter, Amanda Michelle Marchman. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 12, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Tommy McLeroy officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside before and after the service. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
