MR. ROBERT J. WRIGHT Mr. Robert J. Wright, 63, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, at the graveside in the Pine Mountain Cemetery, with Dr. Michael Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Friday night. Mr. Wright was born January 13, 1948, in Randolph County, Alabama, son of the late Thomas Whitney Wright and the late Louella Parker Wright. A Baptist by faith and a resident of Troup County most of his life, he was a retired over-the-road truck driver, who enjoyed trucking and owning and maintaining his trucks. Survivors include sons, Anthony and Tina Patterson and DeWayne Parmer, all of Mobile, AL; sisters, Jenny and Thomas Williams of Pine Mountain, Janice Brown and David Gill of LaGrange; brothers, Jerry and Nellie Wright of Five Points, AL, Larry Wright of Phoenix, AZ; sister in-law, Kathy and Mike Stephens of Forest Park; six grandchildren, Brandy Baker, Chris and Ashly Patterson, Randy Patterson, Drew Patterson, Brian Parmer, Danny and Jessica Parmer; five great-grandchildren, Dillian Parmer, Emily Parmer, Cameron Parmer, Colby Baker, Chloe Baker; and his beloved dogs, Rowdy, PeeWee, and Missy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Causey Wright. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
