MR. ROBERT H. GARRETT Mr. Robert H. Garrett, 77, of Hogansville, died Sunday, November 24, 2013, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Mr. Garrett was born April 17, 1936, in Troup County, son of the late William Olin Garrett and Claudia Wynn Garrett. A lifelong resident of Troup County, he was Baptist by faith and retired from William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan. Survivors include his son, Gary Garrett of Hogansville; sisters and brothers in-law, Ruth and Don Ford of LaGrange, Fay Rushton of Hogansville, Cathryn and Edwin Busbee of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Coleman Garrett of Newnan; sister in-law, Ruth Collier and her husband, Tim; brother in-law, Larry Gaddy, all of Hogansville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Gaddy Garrett; sister, Betty Garrett Williamson; and brothers, Charlie Garrett and William O. (Pete) Garrett, Jr. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, November 25th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery
