Robert E. "Bobby" Dykes

Mr. Robert E. "Bobby" Dykes, 75, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Dykes was born September 29, 1949, at Ft. Benning, son of the late Thelma Kermit Dykes and Virginia Marvene Brown Dykes. A resident of Heard County for the past year, he was a former resident of Hogansville and was a member of Grace Covenant Worship Center. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Dykes of Franklin; son, Robert W. Scholtes (Renee) of Hogansville; daughter, Rachel Mathis (Jason) of Senoia; grandchildren, Christopher Pearden, Caleb Pearden, Landon Mathis, and Terrence Turner; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is not being planned at this time.
