Mr. Robert Randall " Randy" Cook, 72, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.
Mr. Cook was born February 16, 1950, in Atlanta, son of the late William Robert Cook and Anna Morgan Cook. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired carpenter, having worked in commercial and industrial construction. He enjoyed working, whether on the job or around his house, and loved being outdoors working in his yard or fishing. He also loved to be with his family, to cook on the grill, and to listen to Southern Rock 'n Roll.
Survivors include is wife, Desiree Craft Cook of Jonesboro; son and daughter in-law, Troy and Joy Cook and granddaughters, Natalie Redding and Sydney Redding, all of Port Orange, FL; sister, Patricia Kolesar of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 26, at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville. Pastor Brian Hosmer will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
