REV. EDWARD CALHOUN Rev. Robert Edward Calhoun, 71, of Grantville, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born March 21, 1944 in Coweta County, Mr. Calhoun was the son of the late Ralph James Calhoun and Mary Frances Hawk. He was a carpenter by trade, was a member of Family Worship Center, and was a lifelong resident of the Hogansville and Coweta County area. After he was ordained, he began his mission evangelizing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Survivors include his wife, Frances Calhoun; daughter and son in-law, Crystal and Rev. William Spray Sr.; grandchildren, Cierra Hogan, Schae Hogan, Jeremiah Spray, and William Spray, Jr., all of Grantville; and numerous brothers and sisters in-laws and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Calhoun, Jr. and sister, Janet Lee Calhoun. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun and the Reverend William Spray, Sr. will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Condolences may be expressed at www.mckibbenfuneralhome.com Claude A.
