Mr. Robbie R. Robinson, 58, of Hogansville, GA passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. Robbie was born December 30, 1958, in LaGrange, son of the late Vender and Dorothy Robertson Robinson. A 1977 graduate of Hogansville High School, he earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he member of the football team. He was employed as a consultant for Alexander Proudfoot for a number of years before returning to Hogansville. Survivors include his brother, Hewlette D. "Cookie" Cook and his wife, Tami of Dalton; niece, Leigh Banks and her husband, Mickey of Livingston, TX; nephew, Andrew Cook and his wife, Jessica of Newnan; great-nephews, Sam, A.J., Kobie, and Levi; and special friend, Peggy Harris. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 9, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Bill Dollar officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of the donor. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
