Rita Dianne Hamilton

Mrs. Rita Dianne Hamilton, 61, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Hamilton was born July 31, 1955, in Heard County, daughter of the late L. C. Smith and the late Gladys Overton Skipper. She was a lifelong resident of Heard and Troup Counties and was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda McCain and her husband, Billy of Hogansville; son, Tommy Crapps of Hogansville; her boyfriend, Denny Phillips, of Hogansville and his sons, Justin and Heather Phillips of Flowery Branch and John Paul and Beth Phillips of Woodbury; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren with another soon to arrive. The family is honoring Mrs. Hamilton's request that no service be held. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
