Ricky Lee Hand

Mr. Ricky L. Hand, 64, of LaGrange, passed away, Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman. Mr. Hand was born August 13, 1952, in Hogansville, son of the late Jessie Mae Davis Hand and the late Joseph Lem Hand. A 1972 graduate of Hogansville High School, he was a lifelong resident of Troup County, was Baptist by faith, and was a former deputy for the Troup County Marshall's Office. He was a dedicated Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons fan. Survivors include his daughter, Kasey Lee Pruitt of LaGrange; and his grandchildren, Madison, Kaleb and Conner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Randy R. Hand. A graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
