Mr. Richard L. Rigsby, 67, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, at his home. Mr. Rigsby was born November 29, 1952, in Coweta County, son of the late John Ralph Rigsby and Martha Doris Stowers Rigsby. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army, he lived in Troup and Coweta counties most of his life and was a retired welder. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Rigsby of Hogansville; daughter and son in-law, Michelle and Darian O'Neal of Hogansville; son and daughter in-law, Brian and Patricia Rigsby of Hoschton; step-daughters, Tammy Whitney and Randy Shirer of Luthersville, Wanda Gibson of Hogansville; step-sons, William John Allen of Hogansville, Roy Mack and Alisa Allen of Fayetteville; sisters, Betty Hall of Newnan, Carol Ann Campbell of Dayton, OH, Anita Thomas of Hendersonville, TN; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donny Shelton will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
