Richard Lewis Pike

MR. RICHARD L. PIKE Mr. Richard L. Pike, 68, of LaGrange, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, at the Hogansville Church of God. The family will receive friends at the church immediately before and after the service. Mr. Pike was born February 22, 1944, in Hogansville, son of the late Lewis and Ada Brazell Pike. He was a lifelong resident of Troup County and was employed as an independent insurance agent for over 30 years. Survivors include his sons, Shane Pike of LaGrange, Rich Pike, Jr. and his wife Lisa, of Hogansville; sisters, Beula Smith of Douglasville, Carolyn Perkins and Louise Brown, both of LaGrange; brother, Bill Pike of Albany; and grandchildren, Leslie Pike and Lindsey Pike. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
