Richard Michael King

Mr. Richard Michael King, 71, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. King was born January 12, 1949, in LaGrange, son of the late Morgan and Jessie Knight King. He was employed as a maintenance mechanic for Milliken and Company Live Oak Plant for many years prior to his retirement. Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Harrilson and her husband Andreas of LaGrange; son, Jason King and his wife Chandra of Tallahassee, FL; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Kelly Ward and her son, John Ward; her daughter, Sam Ward; and her nine grandchildren. A memorial service is not being planned at this time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
