Richard Anthony Ferrell

Mr. Richard Anthony Ferrell, 58, of Lavonia, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Mr. Ferrell was born February 15, 1963, in Atlanta, son of the late Milton and Frances Smith Ferrell. A resident of Lavonia for the past five years, he was an over-the-road truck driver and enjoyed traveling across the United States. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his son, Trevor Ferrell of North Carolina; sister, Sue and Ricky Hall of Flowery Branch; brother, James and Cymantha Ferrell of Newnan; and nephews, Nicholas Ferrell, Tyler Hall, and Brandon Ferrell. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
