Richard D. "Rick" Janney

Mr. Richard D. "Rick" Janney, 59, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at his home. Born May 6, 1958 in Troup County, Mr. Janney was the son of the late Claude Durward Janney and Davelene Yearta Janney. He lived most of his life in the Hogansville area and had been employed as a truck driver with Foley Products. Survivors include his children, Bridgett Dodd and Richie Janney of Cedartown, and Luke Janney of Franklin; brothers and sisters in-law, Ronnie and Patricia Janney and Rodney and Claire Janney of Hogansville, and Rocky and Cindy Janney of Warm Springs; and four grandchildren. The memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Rick Lipp officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 3 Sunday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
