Richard Otis Arrington

Mr. Richard Arrington, 62, of Turin, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019, at his home. Mr. Arrington was born September 26, 1956, in Newnan and lived in Coweta County most of his life. He was Baptist by faith and worked most of his life as a drywall installer. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Minix of Turin; son, Brandon Nicholas (Nick) Minix and daughter in-law, Nikki, also of Turin; his father, Holland Arrington of Sharpsburg; sister, Patricia Jackson of Hogansville; brother, Hollis Arrington of Carrollton; grandchildren, Nicholas Kayden Minix and Jaxson Arlo Minix; and his faithful cainine companion, Blue. Mr. Arrington was preceded in death by his mother, Dovie Dean Arrington, and his brother, Johnny Lee Arrington. The family will host a memorial service at 12:00 p.m.. Monday, March 18, at Change Church in Grantville, with Pastor T. J. Boyd, Pastor Wayne Stewart and Pastor Stan Rogers officiating. The family will greet friends at the church. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
