Rhonda Lynn Dodds

Mrs. Rhonda Lynn Dodds, 61, of Luthersville, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Dodds was born July 5, 1957, in Ft. Polk, Louisiana, daughter of the late James and Frances Church. She was employed as a cashier for a number of years, was a homemaker, and was a loving mother. Survivors include her husband, John Dodds of Luthersville; her children and their spouses, Jennifer Parks of McDonough, Brandon and Brandi Bays of Griffin, Aimee and Leon Newsom of Newnan, Kristyn Bays and Stephen Pruett of Luthersville; step-children, Mark and Amber Dodds of Luthersville, Danyale and David Evans of Cedartown; sister, Tammy Davis of Luthersville; brothers, Larry Davis and David Davis, both of Luthersville; grandchildren, Isabel Bays, Liana Bays, Judah Bays, Bryan Bays, Caleb Wells, Kayla Brianne Bays, Johnae Nicole Arnold, Sierra Leigh Arnold, Elijah Micane Arnold; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Kentez Mcginty, Lyric Nicole Mcginty; and seven step-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 11, at the graveside in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in the Rocky Mount Community of Meriwether County, with the Reverend T. J. Boyd officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
