Render Crews

MR. RENDER CREWS Mr. Render Crews, 80, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday December 4, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Darrain Coker officiating. Mr. Crews was born February 20, 1930, in Meriwether County, son of the late Ben and Ruby Keith Crews. A resident of Hogansville for 45 years, he was a member of Emmaus Primitive Baptist Church and retired from Stran Steel in LaGrange. Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Gary and Darlene Pike of Joshua, TX; daughter, Kyra Crews of Hogansville; sister, Carrie Bulloch of Manchester; and grandchildren, Dustin, Destiny, Dalton, and Kaden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Layvon Hill Crews. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
