Renate Elaine Middleton

Mrs. Renate Elaine Middleton, of Gay, affectionately known by her family and close friends as "Notty Pine," passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mrs. Middleton was born November 16, 1961, in Carlisle, PA, daughter of the late Bill and Elsie Feitweiss Bryan. She had lived in Meriwether County for thirty years and enjoyed fishing, campfires, camping, and helping others. Most of all, she was a homemaker who loved caring for her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Blane Middleton of Gay; daughter, Jennifer Michelle Duke and Brandon of Warner Robins; son, Michael Middleton and Tanya of Tyrone; sister, Cathy Curtis of Covington; brothers. David Bryan of Luthersville, Billy Bryan and Ronnie Bryan of Covington; and grandchildren, Caitlyn Elaine Duke, Robert Ethan Duke and Payton McKenzie Duke. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
