Raymond Thomas Weir

MR. RAYMOND T. WEIR Mr. Raymond T. Weir, 63, of West Point, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Weir was born September 22, 1951, in Hogansville, son of the late Ervin Weir, Jr. and Beatrice Mossestad Weir. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was a 1970 graduate of Troup High School, was Baptist by faith, and retired from Stran Buildings. Following his retirement, he owned and operated Big Daddys Computers in LaGrange. Survivors include his sons, Daniel Weir and Matthew Weir, of West Point; sister, Pat Banks of Newnan; and brother, Ricky Weir of Woodbury. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jeffery Duran and the Reverend Bobby Bozeman will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
