Raymond Wilson Roberts

Mr. Raymond Wilson Roberts, 86, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at his home. Mr. Roberts was born January 6, 1935, in Hogansville, son of the late Earnest Glen Roberts and Lillian Amanda Harris Roberts. A veteran of service in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War, he was a retired over-the-road truck driver. Mr. Roberts loved to ride, to visit, and to talk and enjoyed attending Olive Branch Baptist Church in Franklin. Survivors include his daughters, Joan Lee Thomas of Franklin, Frances Roberts of Austin, TX, Wanda Sue Estrada of Glendale, AZ, and Stephanie Roberts of Georgetown, TX; several cousins; and many friends. His family and the members of Olive Branch Baptist Church will host a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 12, at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is assisting the family of Mr. Roberts.
