MR. RAY T. HUNT Mr. Ray T. Hunt, 71, of Hogansville, died Monday, October 10, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend W. T. Bates and the Reverend Milton Hall will officiate and interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery at Canton at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Mr. Hunt was born May 12, 1940, in Troup County, son of the late Tommy Felder Hunt and the late Lurline Dollar Hunt. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army, he lived at Hogansville most of his life, was retired from Graphic Packaging in Newnan, and attended Harrisonville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Diane Hunt of Hogansville; daughters and son in-law, Susan Boswell of LaGrange, Judy Lynn and Grady Hay of Pine Mountain; son and daughter in-law, Terry Ray and Shannon Hunt of Hogansville; sisters, Frances Wood of LaGrange, Joyce Willingham, Nancy Copeland and Debra Gaddy, all of Hogansville, Linda Scott of Newnan, and Peggy Powell of Franklin; brother, Jimmy Hunt of Hogansville; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Tuesday night, October 11th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Georgia National Cemetery at Canton at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday
