Ray Wayne Carmichael

MR. WAYNE CARMICHAEL Mr. Wayne Carmichael, 59, of Newnan, died Monday, December 23, 2013, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born March 2, 1954, in Newnan, Mr. Carmichael was the son of the late Ray Stalling Carmichael and Ruth Horton Carmichael. He was a lifelong resident of Newnan and was a self-employed painter. Survivors include his daughter, Angie Turner of Moreland; son, Chris Stancil of Greenville, TN; sister and brother in-law, Brenda and Doug Latimer of Sharpsburg; brother and sister in-law, Robert and Laura Carmichael of Newnan; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Plans for a memorial service will be announced later by Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
