Randy Joe Cushard

Mr. Randy J. Cushard, 56, of Luthersville, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at his home. Mr. Cushard was born September 27, 1959, in Mansfield, Ohio, moved to Georgia as a young man, and had lived in Meriwether County for 26 years. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing and was very successful at both. Survivors include his wife, Becky Reeves Cushard of Luthersville; sons, Brian Cushard of Luthersville, Jeffrey Cushard of Sharpsburg; a granddaughter, Brianna Ansley Cushard and another grandchild soon to arrive; his mother, Marjorie Winkleman of Mansfield, OH; brothers and sisters, John, Dan, Fred, Kathy and Kristi, all of Ohio; and many dear friends that he also leaves behind. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jesse Cushard, and his brother, Bob Cushard. The family will receive friends at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
