Randall K. "Randy" Skipper

Mr. Randall K. "Randy" Skipper, 51, of Pine Mountain, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Skipper was born December 15, 1970, in LaGrange, lived in Troup County most of his life, and owned and operated Skipper Gutter and Copper Service. He loved fishing and hunting, camping and boating, cooking and barbequing, was a musician and played bass guitar, and really loved any activity that allowed him to entertain and be with his family. Randy equally enjoyed visiting Florida and the Great Smoky Mountains. Survivors include his wife Amanda Skipper of Pine Mountain; daughters, Rachael Egli of LaGrange, Savannah McRae and her husband Randon of LaGrange, Randi Sue Skipper of Prattville, AL; additional children, Dylan Evans, Kaylin Evans, and Brandon Evans, all of Franklin; his mother and step-father, Betty and Richard Avery of Pine Mountain; father and step-mother, Earnest and Dianne Skipper of Franklin; sister, Amy Ware of Franklin; brothers, Steve Skipper and Danny Skipper, both of Pine Mountain; and grandchildren, Serenity Whitfield, Sawyer McRae, Ellie Egli, and Beau Egli. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Rick McCormick will officiate and interment will be in Avery Lake Cemetery in Pine Mountain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night.
