Randall H. Rogers, Sr.

MR. RANDALL ROGERS, SR. Mr. Randall H. Rogers, Sr., 76, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Hillview East Cemetery in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 until 5 Friday afternoon and immediately following the service. Mr. Rogers was born May 29, 1934, in Smyrna, son of the late Arvil and Ida Mae Martin Rogers. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army, he lived in Atlanta before making his home in Heard County 19 years ago. He retired as a driver for Central Truck Lines in Atlanta after 33 years service. Survivors include his wife, Iona Rogers of Hogansville; children, Randall, Jr., Elizabeth, Lorraine, Ann Marie, Courtney, Shelia, and Janice; a brother, Neil; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 3 until 5, Friday afternoon, March 11th, at Claude A.
