Mr. Thomas Williams, 78, of Pine Mountain, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024, of injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. Williams was born April 30, 1945, in LaGrange, son of the late Ralph Thomas Williams and Willie Mae Hand Williams. A veteran of service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, he was a retired over-the-road truck driver and was a pipefitter. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, coin collecting, loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed repairing and rebuilding anything including cars.

Survivors include his son, Ricky Williams (Nikki Allmon) of Pine Mountain; daughter, Belinda Bishop (Craig Bishop) of Manchester; grandchildren, Jenna Sargent (Jim), Cleve Ellington (Allison), Ashly Strawder (Kris), Miranda Williams, Brenan Folds, and Madelyn Folds; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Logan, Jacob, Haylee, Elijah, Kennison, and Kinsey; great-great-grandson, Carter; sisters, Mary Jo, Glenda, and Shirley; and brother, Jeff.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donald Cindrick will officiate and interment will be in the Pine Mountain Cemetery, with military honors.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2 Friday afternoon.
