MR. RALPH PIKE Mr. Ralph D. Pike, 79, of Hogansville, died Monday, March 16, 2009, at Regency Hospital in East Point. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 19, at Welcome All Baptist Church in Hogansville. The Reverend Tommy McLeroy and the Reverend Paul Stitcher will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Pike was born December 13, 1929, in LaGrange, son of the late Hope and Nettie Dorrough Pike. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he lived at Hogansville most of his life, was a member of Welcome All Baptist Church and American Legion Post 152. Mr. Pike was a retired commercial building contractor and owned and operated the Hogansville Golf Club. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Ashley Pike; daughter, Robin Pike; sons and daughters in-law, Mike and Cathy Pike, Dennis and Gina Pike, Mark and Ima Pike, and Todd and Jennifer Pike, all of Hogansville; sisters, Margaret Dunlap of Rock Mills, AL, June Mathis of Glenn, Janice Robbins of Hogansville, Sherry Pike of Lilburn, and Linda Bassett of Durand; brothers, Kenneth Pike of Cleveland, TN and Larry Pike of Hogansville; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jackson Pike; and brothers, Rendell Pike and Jimmy Pike. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Wednesday night, March 18th, at Claude A.
