Rachel Mitchell Snyder

Mrs. Rachel Mitchell Snyder, 79, of the Corinth Community of Heard County, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at the home of her son in Thomaston. Born April 28, 1941, in LaGrange, Mrs. Snyder was the daughter of the late Joe and Hazel Johnson Mitchell. She was a lifelong resident of the Corinth Community and was a member of Corinth Methodist Church. Mrs. Snyder retired from Milliken and Co. in LaGrange after many years of service and loved to sew. Survivors include her sons, William T. Watson, Jr. and his wife Becky, and Joe Watson; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, at the graveside in Corinth Cemetery with the Reverend Amy Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 until 2 Friday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
