Mrs. Rachel Annette Langley, 62, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Langley was born May 12, 1956, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Barney Ruben Cook and Mary Marie Pitts Daniel. A lifelong resident of Troup County, she was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith. She had enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Langley of LaGrange; sons, Tommy Herndon of Hogansville, Daniel Herndon of Lone Oak; step-daughter, Kristy Lynn Langley and step-son, William Ray Langley, both of South Carolina; sisters, Cindy Wright of Thomaston, Rhonda "Sis" Comacho of Poole, TX; brother, Jerry Cook of Mountville; ten grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Cook.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Jimmy Wright officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday.
