Quillian Ernest Toney

MR. QUILLIAN E. TONEY Mr. Quillian Ernest Toney, 87, of Hogansville, died Thursday, August 21, 2014, at West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Toney was born November 20, 1926, in Heard County, son of the late Samuel Ernest Toney and Annie Ruth May Toney. An Army veteran of World War Two, he lived in Troup County most of his life, was Baptist by faith, and retired from the engineering department of Milliken and Company. Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Kenneth and Katherine Toney of Melbourne, FL; sister, Jeanette Teague of LaGrange; brothers and sister in-law, Brady Toney, Harold and Ann Toney, all of Hogansville; and grandchildren. A family viewing was held Sunday afternoon, August 24, at the funeral home and no further service is planned. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements.
