Quillian G. Collier

Mr. Quillian G. Collier, 90, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange.

Mr. Collier was born April 5, 1934, in Hogansville, son of the late O. K. and Lettie Daniel Collier. A veteran of service in the U.S. Air Force, he was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, was a 1954 graduate of Hogansville High School, and was retired from Kleen-Tex Industries in LaGrange. He was Baptist by faith and loved metal-detecting, woodworking, fishing, and going to dirt track races.

Survivors include his sons and daughters in-law, Timothy and Ruth Collier of Hogansville, Tommy and Tammy Collier of Grantville, Terry and Janice Collier of Hogansville; six grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Buchanan Collier; his brothers, Harwell Collier and Roger Collier; and his sister, Norma Landrum.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside from 2:30 p.m., until 3:00 p.m.
