Mr. Phillip W. Stephens, 66, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation.
Mr. Stephens was born February 22, 1955, in Marshall County, Alabama, son of the late James and Ruth Windsor Stephens. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, he had a talent for small engine repair, enjoyed going to flea markets and finding bargains, loved animals, and especially enjoyed playing pranks.
Survivors include his brother and sister in-law, Richard and Bernice Stephens of Hogansville; niece and nephews, Paula Flagg and her husband David, John Stephens and his wife Lisa, Jake Stephens, and Kevin Stephens, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul D. Stephens.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night.
