Phillip Dewayne Gay

MR. PHILLIP DEWAYNE GAY Mr. Phillip Dewayne Gay, 51, of Pine Mountain Valley, died Sunday, August 31, 2014, at his home. Born August 18, 1963, in Troup County, Mr. Gay was the son of the late Herschel Pete Gay and Diana Morman Hamilton. He worked for Valley Pallets (now Southern Crates) for 25 years, was Baptist by faith, and had lived in Pine Mountain Valley for the last 22 years. Survivors include his daughters, Ashley of Greenville and Tori of Texas; his mother and step-father, Diana and Jimmy Hamilton of Greenville; sisters, Kim Scaff of Newnan, Tina Scott of Odessa, and Jamie Bray of LaGrange; brothers, Jeffery Gay of Columbus, Mike Gay, and CJ Nolan, both of LaGrange; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Norman Waddell will officiate and interment will follow in the Pine Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Claude A.
