Penny Stewart Lott

Mrs. Penny Stewart Lott, 49, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Lott was born October 14, 1967, in Salem, Ohio, and lived in Troup County most of her life. A 1987 graduate of Troup High School, she loved her animals and enjoyed reading and crocheting. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, James and Katie Hembree of LaGrange; father and step-mother, Dave and Ginny Stewart of LaGrange; brothers and sister in-law, Ronnie Stewart of Hogansville, William and Susan Stewart of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nelda Buchanan Railey. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dwayne Perdue will officiate and interment will be in the Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
