Peggy Sue Price

Mrs. Peggy Sue Price, 62, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Price was born April 23, 1958, in LaGrange, daughter of the late W. A. "Bill" Scott, Sr. and Rachel McCormick Scott. She was a member of Pineview Baptist Church, worked many years as a waitress, and enjoyed serving her customers and meeting people. Survivors include her sons, Roy Lee (Jo) Scott and Patrick Bowen, all of LaGrange; her nieces and nephew that she raised and considered her children, Wanda Kelley Hay and her husband John of Thomaston, Rachel Kelley Kraemer and her husband Mark of Hogansville, James W. Kelley, Jr. of LaGrange; brother, William A. "Bill" Scott, Jr. and his wife Barbara of LaGrange; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lamar "PeeWee" Price; brothers, Larry Wayne Scott, Sr., Jerry Arnold Scott, Sr.; and sisters, Geneva Scott Mabry and Mary Frances Scott. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. Joel Scott will officiate and interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, AL at 2:00 p.m. (EDT). The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
