Peggy Pressley Hale

Mrs. Peggy Pressley Hale, 80, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Hale was born December 13, 1936, in Troup County, daughter of the late Sammy and Maybell Blankenship Pressley. Before her retirement, she was employed by LaGrange Moulding and the Dixie Divison of West Point Pepperell. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivor include her husband, Alears Hale of LaGrange; sons, Gary Hale of LaGrange, Anthony Gatens and his wife, Carrie of Hogansville; brothers, Billy Pressley and Riley Pressley, both of LaGrange; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Loyd Pressley, Bobbie Pressley, Gerald Pressley, and Lois Knight. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tom Kennedy will officiate and interment will be Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
