MRS. PEGGY D. BOOKER Mrs. Peggy Daniell Booker, 64, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Clinton Hughes will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Born June 5, 1944, Mrs. Booker was a lifelong resident of LaGrange and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange. She had owned and operated a day care center, had been employed as a property manager, and retired as a broker from Coldwell Banker-Manor Realty. Survivors include her husband, Davis W. Booker of LaGrange; sons and daughters in-law, Dave and Jennifer Booker and Lyle Booker, all of LaGrange, and Russell and Lauren Booker of Raleigh, NC; her mother, Dorothy (Dot) Daniell of LaGrange; sister and brother in-law, Beverly and David Hamil of Dalton; brother and sister in-law, Randy and Myra Daniell of Hardeeville, SC; special aunt, Lorraine Turner of LaGrange; and four grandchildren, Tinsley Booker, Matthew Booker, Ava Booker, and Trae Booker. She was preceded in death by her father,Gerald Wallace Daniell. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
