Mrs. Pauline Foster Hodges, 88, of Luthersville, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at her home.
Mrs. Hodges was born December 10, 1935, in Elberton, daughter of the late Paul Edward Porterfield and Odell Wilma Adams. She lived in Mableton before making her home in Luthersville in 1979, had attended Rocky Mount Baptist Church, and had been active in the Grantville Senior Center. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at First Baptist Church of Newnan Day Care and at Red Rooster Restaurant in Luthersville. She is remembered as a good Christian woman.
Survivors include her sons, Donnie and Ronnie Foster of Luthersville, Paul Foster of Lanett, AL, and Johnny Garmon of Rutherford, NC; grandchildren, Zac Garmon, Melissa Garmon, Justin Foster, Clayton Foster, and Amanda Foster Butner; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Glen Hodges and Harold Foster, and her son, Danny Garmon.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Wayne Settle officiating. Interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service.
