Pauline Massey Britt

Mrs. Pauline Massey Britt, 97, of Luthersville, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at Ansley Park Health and Rehabilitation in Newnan. Mrs. Britt was born September 23, 1922, in Columbus, daughter of the late Charles James Massey and Fannie Pauline Thornton Massey. She had lived in Luthersville since 1931, was a member of Luthersville United Methodist Church, and, along with her late husband, owned and operated Britt Nursery and Greenhouse for many years. Survivors include her daughters, Sue Ellen Britt of Newnan, Mollie Britt Trammell and her husband Charles Martin Trammell of Luthersville; brother, Calvin Massey and his wife Marie of LaGrange; grandchildren, Stacy Martin Trammell, John William Trammell, Joshua Thomas Trammell and his wife Crystal Robbins Trammell, Sandi Britt Hall, Kelly Britt Wall, Brian Phillip Britt, Laurie Britt, Jayde Britt; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Franklin (Tom) Britt; and her son, Thomas Larry Britt. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, at the graveside in the Luthersville Cemetery, with the Reverend Bob Prater officiating. Viewing for the public will be at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Luthersville Cemetery Fund. Claude A.
