Mr. Paul R. Caldwell, 75, of Thomaston, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019, a The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Mr. Caldwell was born August 20, 1943 in Hogansville, son of the late Bob and Ada Mae Thompson Caldwell. A former resident of Newnan, he retired from the Georgia Department of Revenue, loved hunting and fishing, enjoyed karaoke, and was a fan of the music of Elvis Presley.
Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Amy and Torrey Johns; sons and daughters in-law, Paul D. Caldwell, Bobby and Shanda Caldwell, Joe and Tracey Caldwell, all of Thomaston; sister, Bobbie Kate Shapley of Valley, AL; brother, Jonathan Caldwell of Roopville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Richard T. Clay will officiate and interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
