MRS. PATSY SHEPPARD Mrs. Patsy Miller Sheppard, 66, of Roanoke, AL and formerly of Grantville, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at West Georgia Health in LaGrange. Mrs. Sheppard was born March 16, 1948, in Dallas, daughter of the late Aaron and Cordy Teal Miller. A resident of Grantville for many years before making her home in Roanoke in 2004, she was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Roanoke. She enjoyed gospel music and her interests always involved her family. Survivors include her husband, Larry Sheppard of Roanoke; daughters and sons in-law, Lisa and Lynn Brooks of Roanoke, Pam and Ray Smith of Grantville, and Angela Lanning of Roanoke; sisters, Vernie Shelnutt and Carolyn Jenkins, both of Grantville; grandchildren, Catherine Coleman and her husband, Jared, Katie McCauley, Brittany McCauley, Andrew Smith, Josh Lanning, Kaleigh McCauley and A. J. McCauley; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Coleman, Isaiah Smith, and Remy McCauley. She was preceded in death by her son George Richard (Richie) McCauley, Jr. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Dexter Etchison and Rev. Harvey Bane will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Sunday night, May 11th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 12th, in the Chapel of Claude A.
